Howard A. Gardner


Mr. Gardner graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1987 and is admitted to practice law in New York.   He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Family Law Section. Prior to joining Moses Ziegelman & Kornfeld, Esq., Mr. Gardner was engaged almost exclusively in matrimonial and family law litigation at several prominent firms in New York City.

Mr. Gardner is known for his meticulous and scholarly approach to the practice of law and has drafted countless divorce-related custody and financial agreements, motions, and briefs over the course of his illustrative legal career, including, without limitation, the appellate briefs in the seminal paternity matter of Matter of Clara C. v. William L., 96 N.Y.2d 244, 727 N.Y.S.2d 20 (2001); the successful appeal in Gad v. Gad, 283 A.D.2d 200, 724 N.Y.S.2d 305 (1st Dept. 2001); and the successful appeal in Gemignani v. Gemignani, 244 A.D.2d 286, 665 N.Y.S.2d 854 (1st Dept. 1997), in which the Court upheld the validity of a divorce settlement agreement.
